Galatasaray vs Barcelona takes center stage tonight as FC Barcelona travel to RAMS Park in Istanbul for Matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League.
Hansi Flick’s men face a grueling stretch of European and domestic fixtures, and navigating a hostile atmosphere in Turkey will be vital if they are to extend their perfect start to the campaign.

Unstoppable Barça Meets a Formidable FortressUnder Hansi Flick, Barcelona have enjoyed a record-breaking start to the 2026/27 season. The Catalan giants have swept aside every opponent in front of them, winning all 9 of their official matches across La Liga and Europe while scoring 39 goals.
However, Galatasaray present a stern test on home turf. Unbeaten at RAMS Park and currently sitting top of the Turkish First Division, Okan Buruk’s side possess a lethal attacking line featuring Victor Osimhen, Rafael Leão, and Leroy Sané.
Following an opening Matchday defeat to Sporting CP, the Turkish champions are desperate to claim a marquee European win in front of their home crowd.
Osimhen’s High Praise Ahead of the Clash
Ahead of tonight’s showdown, Galatasaray superstar Victor Osimhen praised the visiting Catalans while expressing his team’s readiness for the test.“I know that Barcelona is one of the best teams in history and, right now, they’re the best in the world,” Osimhen said.
While the Nigerian striker was heavily linked with Barcelona before they ultimately signed Gabriel Jesus, his focus remains entirely on taking down the Spanish leaders.

“If you play against a team with such high-quality players, you have to play with both passion and seriousness, and press high up the pitch,” he added.
“They have a lot of possession, so in these kinds of matches we have to show some resistance.”
Osimhen, who has bagged 6 goals in 5 Süper Lig matches this season, missed Galatasaray’s opening Champions League fixture due to injury but has recovered in time to start tonight.
“The match against Barcelona will be difficult. But, to be honest, like my teammates, I’m also very excited about this match,” Osimhen concluded.
“We are ready; whatever the result of that match, we will face it with our heads held high. Playing against Barcelona at Rams Park will be spectacular.”
